Builders’ income fix
The income from the cities was increasing very slowly and builders needed to wait too much for the result. Now it follows any change in the population or wealth of your city immediately.

From now on all users that die are automatically moved from their country to purgatory.
Purgatory is the same as what dying was before, except now you need to move from there after you have recovered your strength and money.
The messaging interface is a bit nicer and cleaner now. I hope everyone will find it easy to use. If you find bugs or have any suggestions let us know.
You can now sell your gold credits on the market if you wish as they have become part of your inventory. Unlike other items, your credits will not disappear when you die or reset your character.
Another update that is not immediately visible but adds flexibility to the game and makes it a lot easier to add new professions or remove them. I hope with these updates we will see lot of additional content soon.
This update will either be loved or hated. You can now freely move around between countries as long as you have an airplane ticket. However you lose certain rights in your new home for a certain time, one of them is the ability to fight in war. For more details check out the immigration page.
This is not really a visible change but fixes certain problems reported in the forum regarding selling worn clothes and the possibility of duplicating items. The inventory now has a central controlling class where most of the functionality is defined. I like to do changes like this. Without a common container that defines the rules like this, the code eventually starts to become a mess when it’s expanded and bugs need to be hunted down. With this new system we now have a little more flexibility and a little more room to expand.
Inactive users were showing up in the drop downs for donations and leadership rights, this has now been fixed so that only active players can be seen there.
There appears to be too much stone and iron in the game, so I’m trying to balance the game better. The price of iron and stone has dropped from $80 to $7-8 which means there is way too much out there.
From now, builds will take 3 stone and 3 iron, and we will see what effect that has on the SimRepublic economy.
The system of revolutions was taken out of Republic Online, but didn’t really work well in SimRepublic.
Previously, if a revolution took place every player became a leader. This has now been changed so that if a revolution takes place, all leadership rights will be taken away from everyone in the country.
Then the country can wait for the next election to elect a proper leader.
